I am Emma O’Hare, and I am the founder and chief creator at Bertie and Belle & Auntie Em’s Pop-Up Vintage Tea Shop and China Hire – I started my little business as a hobby in 2010 offering baking parties.
Bertie and Belle have now evolved into an award-winning children’s party business offering 17 different packages – as well as Auntie Ems Pop Up Vintage Tea Shop and China Hire.
I am still recovering post covid – 4 years on and I can offer just the two parties a day on weekend days (@ 10:00 and 14:00) and after school parties during the week, and really hope I can build up to offer extra capacity soon.
Parties are confirmed with a 50% deposit paid by card and the balance including any extra guests 2 weeks before the party date.
All our parties are designed as Drop and Go events, freeing up guests’ parents to do as they wish for the duration – all we ask is that 1 adult remains in the party room for the duration of the party – after all your child will never turn this age again.

All of our party hosts are fully qualified to host parties and our cupcake parties are only ever hosted by me (Emma) I’m a fully qualified, experienced and professional cake maker and decorator.
All of our hosts hold enhanced CRB checks & are trained in paediatric first.
No two events are the same and it’s important to recognise the individual age and stage of the children whether it be a private party, school event or a charity fundraiser.
